Usually I don't comment on things but I must say that I am hurt by the costume, comments and the laughs it is receiving :(. I have been living/fighting a losing battle with Ana for years. This comment is not going to faze anyone and I am ok with that but I thought if someone read it they would see how hurtful the laughter and the comments are. Not to mention the costume. I understand that most people don't see this as an illness. Instead they see it as a life choice. I am here to tell you that I didn't choice to live with this nightmare and neither did my family and friends. Someone that you know and love may be fighting this battle without you even knowing it.



I wish you happiness that I will never have. If finding this costume makes you happy then I hope that you find it. Thanks for reading.

Stop eating. Stand in front of a mirror multiple times a day and berate yourself. If you do eat make sure to throw it up. Try out diet pills and laxatives too (they always help with that pesky water weight - who cares that you might accidentally **** in your pants a little in a public place). Do this for about a year. By next Halloween - if you haven't died - you wont need a costume just slap a name tag on your non-existent chest. You might want to buy a wig because your hair is going to be brittle pieces of straw. You'll also need a lot of makeup to cover the jaundice you'll probably have. That's what "Anna Rexia" really is.

Listen, eating disorders are real and serious diseases. It is easy to make me laugh, and I love to laugh. I have a dry sense of humor and I'm sarcastic. But this is flat out offensive. Find something else to be for Halloween. Don't make it yourself, don't hunt it down online. Find something else to be. Please. This is something that does not need to be glorified.
